Three $2,000 scholarships to
be used at a four-year college or university, a junior college, a
trade school or vocational school.

"Six Pillars of Character" are service marks of the CHARACTER
COUNTS! Coalition, a project of the Josephson Institute of Ethics.
Elk Grove Village, its employees, the Community Character Coalition
of Elk Grove and its members will not be responsible for missing,
misplaced or improperly received entries.
Overview:
The purpose of CHARACTER COUNTS! SM is to
strengthen and reinforce ethical values and character in our
community’s youth and adults. These scholarship awards are based
upon the pillar of Citizenship. It honors four young citizens of Elk
Grove who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation:
James S. Cronin, Phillip E. Frank, John T. Olson, Adriana N. Salem.
Completed application along with all required documentation must be
submitted in a sealed envelope by 3:00 p.m. on April 09, 2010 to:
